After finding out we were having another little girl, people's first question was, "What are you going to name her?" We refused to make a decision until we met her and even after her delivery, we still took our time in naming her (despite it driving everyone else nuts :) She was finally named about 17 hours after birth.

During our pregnancy, we ran a name poll. People could choose from Madilyn Anne, Emelia Anne, Evelyn Anne or Katherine Anne. The final results were: 105 votes for Madilyn, 88 votes for Emelia, 62 votes for Katherine and 33 for Evelyn.

In the end though, it was our decision and just so happens that majority ruled..Madilyn Anne it was.

Madilyn Anne was born on May 11, 2006 weighing in at 7lbs 4ozs and measuring 19 3/4 inches in length. She was 9 days late. I wonder if that is an indication as to what her personality will be like......
