Welcome to the third page of our house before and afters! Here you will see the project pictures of the master bath redo.
Although the master bathroom was one of the most unappealing spaces of our house when we moved in, it's redoing was pushed off for over a year. We figured since most people didn't see it, we would concentrate on the areas in which our company did spend time. However, we finally decided to treat ourselves to an updated master bath. Although it remains a very tiny space (toliet, sink, shower and just enough room to turn around in), it is, now, a *much* more pleasant space to be in. We replaced the flooring, sink/vanity, mirror, lighting, over the toliet cabinet, window treatment, added a new baseboard, wainscotting and chairrail, put a fresh coat of paint on the walls, put in a new door, and refinished the basin and tiles in the uncleanable shower, adding new handles and showerhead. We are thrilled with the results!
We redid the hall bathroom floor in the summer of '05. Not much has been done with that bathroom other than replacing the doors, putting up chairrail and crown molding, and replacing the floor. It didn't require quite the overhaul that the master bath did!
