Our Family in 2006

Welcome to the Guilfoy Family Homepage! Thanks for stopping by our little home on the web!

My name is Stacey, Navy wife to Matt and mother to three precious daughters-Julianna Rae, aka Jules, feisty lil girl Alyssa Marie-aka Lyssie and mom to baby girl Madilyn, aka Madi. I was born and raised in South Jersey, but the military has taken our family elsewhere. I graduated with my AA in Psychology in May 2001. I plan on returning to school to get become a RN once the girls are a bit older. Although, I have to say, there is nothing more rewarding than raising our daughters, so, for now, I'm happily living life as a SAHM and Navy wife. I maintain an online diary if anyone is interested in reading the more daily events of my life.

Matt, my husband, is a Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy. He was also born and spent most of his young years in the pine barrens area of Jersey. He is always busy with something be it navy life, mechanic work or remodeling something in our home.

Julianna, our oldest, was born on February 27, 1998. She is a wonderfully confident, independent, inquisitive, caring young girl that wants to be friends with everyone she meets. She is in fifth grade this year in the gifted cluster class and is loving it! She enjoys any outside activity, playing soccer and being with her friends. She is growing into an amazing young lady!

Alyssa Marie, our other daughter, was born on October 2, 2002. She is a fiesty, spirited girl! She is hilarious; making us all laugh alot. There are times you just can't help but to grab her into a hug and smother her in kisses. She will definitely get what she wants in life with her strong will and determination. She is beginning kindergarten this year and I am sure will love school like her older sister.

Madilyn Anne, daughter #3, joined us on May 11, 2006. She is growing quickly--as they all do. Although I swear the ones you want to grow the slowest end up growing the fastest. She is a hilarious child as well and amazes us daily with her perfectly spoken sentences and the things she has already learned in life. She is very independent but is also a snuggle bug. You can see pictures of my pregnancy by visiting my Belly Page as well as pictures of her baby days by clicking here and I have recently added a page showing off her First Birthday Portraits.

In June 2004, we adopted a cat from a local rescue society. She had been abandoned with her kittens at the back door of a local vet's office. She is, we believe, part Maine Coon. We named her, quite simply,Miss Kitty. She is just gorgeous with her markings and long tail. She loves people and is forever rubbing against us and purring. The girls love playing with her and helping to care for her, and Matt and I love the way she is so loving, especially first thing in the morning.

Yet another family member joined us in July 2006 when we adopted Max from a local K-9 rescue group. We could not have asked for a better family dog. What a sweetheart! He loves to play but is so calm and mellow especially given his young age. He is absolutely wonderful with the girls and is quite intelligent. He even rings a bell when he wants to go outside.

On April 30th 2004, we became first time home owner. We bought a cute little rancher. It was a wonderful four years we spent there renovating and enjoying the home but we quickly outgrew it so in May 2008, we bought a house in the next town over that would offer us a bit more space and land to finish raising our family. You can see pictures of our first home and all of our projects here. If you would like to view our new home, you can see pictures prior to us moving in here and then a quick slideshow of us settling here

If you're interested, you can go see our photo albums with lots of pictures of us throughout the years. **If you are looking for my page on The Journey of an Unborn Child, you have come to the right place; the link is below.**
